The Yakka 150 is a compact trailer-mounted auto prime pump system designed specifically for the mining and construction industries. The system, or pump module assembly is comprised of a main chassis and a rotationally moulded enclosure with integral roll cage, which serves as both an acoustic barrier and as a means to protect the module from vandalism and extreme environmental conditions. Produced using a steel fabricated chassis and outer rotational mouldings for heat insulation and sound absorption. Awards Australian Design Award 2007 |
