The MP 20 is a premium coin-operated public payphone for the Customer-owned Payphone market. It is the first payphone to have a fully integrated mobile stand and is the first in Australia capable of software-downloads allowing the phone to be remotely upgradeable via the intelligent management system.

The semi secure MP-20 has been designed to fit into a wide variety of environments and is specifically targeted towards the hospitality and service market segments.

D+I focused on creating a new corporate identity  that was both bold and innovative and that would provide a platform for future products in the range. The modern simplicity of rounded forms offset by dynamic edges is both futuristic and user-friendly. The distinctive appearance is characterized by the slim, dynamic lines of the stand, its defiant support and seamless integration with the phone.

The MP-20 consists of a pressure die-cast aluminium enclosure with concealed hinges and a robust custom handset. A mounting bracket fastens the phone to the stand, conceals the cable entry and provides cable strain relief.

The stand is a one-piece, foam filled, rotational moulding which provides a light weight, rigid structurefor a range of environmental conditions.
